Welcome to Akimitsu Lab

Greeting

Our lab is mainly interested in non-coding RNA and RNA degradation in mammalian cells from the views of cellular stress responses, such as DNA damage, heat shock, pathogenic infection, and cancer development.
To this end, we employ the state-of-the-art techniques of molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, bioinformatics, and imaging.
